“Welcome to the Church of St. Mark, an Episcopal Church in the Anglican tradition since 1835. St. Mark is located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, hence it is affectionately referred to as the cathedral on the hill. It is a place from which the light of Christ could be seen from miles around as a beacon of hope. We are committed to being a light in the darkness and the salt in an infected and wounded world. Our doors and hearts are always open to share with you the good gifts and graces of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For the nurture and formation of our children and young adults we have a number of programs and institutions such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Enrichment Program, Sunday School and a Parish Day School. The Parish Day School is open to children from nursery to eighth (8th) grade. We also gladly care for the senior citizens through the Golden Age Club, food pantry and home visitation program.
At St. Mark’s we like to worship God in the beauty of holiness and thank Him for manifold blessings. We have three (3) services on a Sunday and one service with bible study on a Wednesday. You are welcome to participate in the ministry of Christ at St. Mark and be part of our worship experience.
May God richly bless you that you may walk in the light.”
